Edition 2023 presented during network event
Danilith Nokere Koerse presented the 2023 edition during a networking evening at Renson's new inspiration park, NOA outdoor living.
The theme was 'business meets sports'. A panel looked ahead to the next cycling season, including cycling phenomenon Dirk De Wolf, owner of the strongest Belgian women's team; Natascha Knaven-den Ouden and then also two entrepreneurs who invest in cycling; Pieter Loose, CEO of Ekopak, new partner of Patrick Lefevere's team and Joris van Rymenant, CFO of Dstny, the new partner of the Lotto team. All chaired by Sporza 'wielerman' Renaat Schotte.
Chairman Robrecht Bothuyne also introduced the 2023 edition. On 15 March '23, there will again be two top races. The women's edition will be looking for a successor to Lorena Wiebes who already managed to win 2 times. Almost all women's teams from the WorldTour have already signed up. So that promises for the start list!
For the men, we go for the 77th edition. Belgian champion Tim Merlier managed to win in 2022. The men have to face more than 25 kilometres of cobblestones. Danilith Nokere Koerse wants to profile itself more and more as a cobbled classic.
New corporate identity
And that is also made visible in the new logo and corporate identity, in which the cobblestone gets a prominent role. Logo and corporate identity were developed in collaboration with AB from Waregem, the new partner in charge of Danilith Nokere Koerse's communications!
New car partner
Another new partner is Garage De Prins - Van Dorpe who will ensure that Danilith Nokere Koerse can from now on take to the track with Toyota. The two new partner cars will be put into use from today. During the week of the races, more than 20 Toyotas will be on the road with officials, guests and so on.
