He was a professional cyclist from 1978 to 1990. Hendrik is the son of Boudewijn Devos, who was a professional cyclist from 1952 to 1957. His brother Patrick Devos was also a professional cyclist from 1978 to 1985.   <\/p><p><strong>Hendrik Devos<\/strong> became the national champion in 1972 in the junior category. Nokere Koerse 1979 was his most significant victory as a professional.
