1998: Victory for Scott Sunderland

(1998) Victory for Scott Sunderland ahead of Leon Van Bon and Chris Peers.

A well-deserved victory for Scott Sunderland, who was already part of the first serious breakaway in the 2nd lap.
In the decisive breakaway of 11 riders, besides Sunderland, local riders Peers and Tom Desmet were also present. On Nokereberg, Sunderland proved to be the fastest of the leading group by lengths. Peers finished 3rd and also became East Flemish champion.
