The race in Nokere is 80 years old. The organization wishes to celebrate this with as many people as possible. Therefore, for the first time, everyone is welcome free of charge in the finish zone in Nokere on Wednesday, March 19!
Starting Friday, March 14, there will be 4 days of racing and festivities in Nokere. And this is now free for the public!
From Friday evening with Départ Canard, the cycling initiation, DNK balance biking, the Special Olympics, and the international junior race on Saturday, to the cycling tourists on Sunday: no admission ticket was already required for the public for any of these events.
New this year is that, for the first time in 80 years, access to the finish zone in Nokere is also free for all spectators. This is possible because the organization will expand the finish zone. The new finish zone, located on Waregemsestraat, means that the public in Nokere will have more space. The area where the public can follow the race behind the barriers will approximately double.
Furthermore, the organization is investing in platforms, grandstands, large screens, etc., to provide the public with every comfort. Additionally, at the Aarova public village, you will find the stage where the winners will also be honored.

This year, we are investing even more in ambiance and atmosphere. After the podium ceremony, we will have none other than Wim Soutaer perform for the public. Together with our resident DJ, entertainment is guaranteed.
Aarova provides the necessary affordable and delicious catering. And thanks to Brewery Roman and Filliers, the thirsty are quenched.
To ensure everyone travels to and from Nokere as safely as possible, the organization urges visitors to come by bicycle as much as possible. Bicycle parking facilities are available in Nokere. Additionally, shuttles are available from Nieuw Plein in Kruishoutem and from the Youth Center parking lot to Nokere and back. Parking and the shuttles are completely free.
